Reporting to the Communications and Branding manager you will drive the Group’s social media activity and interactions with existing and prospective customers, and consumers, ensuring it aligns with the company’s brand and values. Defining, curating and editing content, through internal collaboration; using external information and in-house resources to identify opportunities to drive campaigns. To understand how to develop our social media influence which will move beyond just social media into the wider communications environment. Create and drive the social media governance committee, and to ensure that there is a group common understanding on the social media strategy, pocket guide and policy. Be the spokesperson of social media within Epiroc, meaning you need to understand and listen to the business requirements for social media and adapt this to the Group guidelines for social media. Responsible to bring the Epiroc brand worldwide at the forefront in digital and social media for lead generation and employer branding. In this role you will be working closely with communication, HR colleagues in Customer Centers, divisions and the web team. You will be the key responsible for all Epiroc accounts, and therefore should be able to write qualitative content, creative copy, including ability to post, respond, interact and report on your success. Be the guardian of all social media accounts globally, ensuring they are adhering to the group’s strategy and guidelines. Taking the appropriate actions to ensure they are. Work with operations around the world and our legal department to ensure we comply with local laws, deal with serious complaints and close spurious accounts quickly. Manage an internal procedure whereby any serious complaints are followed up internally and externally on social media. Create guidelines and training in social media within the organization. Increase social media competence throughout the group by creating e-learnings, trainings, presenting webinars and creating resources to improve our social presence. Update the social media strategy, policy and pocket guides on a regular basis. Be the guardian of Epiroc in social media channels in terms of brand, content quality and tone. Proactively identify opportunities, initiate marketing strategies and implementation plans to increase engagement and followers in our social media channels. Creating/planning digital content – facilitate and manage the tool in order to grow outreach and align all content distributed by corporate communications. A full understanding of analytics both on social media platforms and the wider online environment. To report on a monthly basis on channel growth, website visitors and social media management tool usage. Supporting the Group’s digital strategy, and implement improvements to the content, formatting, usability and accessibly of our channels. Contribute to the development and growth of the Group’s digital channels for customer engagement, reputation and thought leadership opportunities. To ensure all of the Group’s marketing collateral is fully optimized for the digital environment, including blogs, digital annual report and other online content. Have a good understand of blogs and blogging and experience of starting and managing company blogs and to encourage content from within the organization. Implementation of the social media management tool group-wide (divisional level and Customer Centers). To improve the overall competence applying this tool to social media. You need to be able to measure the results (number of users, countries, overall results, etc.) At the same time, you will need to evaluate if this tool is enough for the business requirements, or if a better solution should be put in place. If that is the case, you will need to show a proposal. Special focus on social media support to particular geographic regions and plan on concrete actions to support these countries in social media, help them to set the right ambition level and to be able to measure results and see the impact on the actions taken. Lead the creation of video guidelines and support the set-up of a branding toolbox for videos with special focus on YouTube channels to improve the way we optimize our videos throughout the Group. Work closely with HR on employer branding and social recruitment and digitization of recruitment topics.
Proven experience as a social media specialist. 5 – 7 years’ experience in marketing / digital communications / social media. Experience of working with or for a listed company and ideally in issues and reputation management. Excellent research, interviewing, and editorial skills. International experience or intercultural training strongly desired.
Knowledge across the following areas: Social, content, SEO, email, web and mobile channels. Solid technical and professional expertise with online marketing tools and web-based technologies. Excellent communications, writing and editing skills. Fluent in English with strong writing skills in languages.
An university degree is required.

Atlas Copco's Board of Directors announced in January 2017 that it will initiate work in order to propose to the Annual General Meeting in 2018, to decide on a split of Atlas Copco into two parts. Atlas Copco will focus on industry and Epiroc will focus on mining, infrastructure and natural resources industries. The current Mining and Rock Excavation business area – core of the future Epiroc - provides equipment for drilling and rock excavation, a complete range of related consumables and service through a global network. The business area innovates for sustainable productivity in surface and underground mining, infrastructure, civil works, well drilling and geotechnical applications.
