Are you curious to start as Site Reliability Engineer in the Nordic’s biggest Insurance Company?
Service Delivery is a Nordic unit responsible for delivering good quality and stable IT services to If. Focus has changed from fire-fighting towards a more structured approach to improve and follow up on performance. Service Delivery also has the responsibility to secure that there are clear channels and guidelines for handling operations towards all applications and services. This requires good external and internal governance within If IT community as well working processes.
We are now opening a Site Reliability Engineer position to strengthen our unit. You will especially focus on securing and continuously improving 24/7 monitoring and alarm management for the whole If IT landscape. This will be done in close co-operation with the application teams and vendors, as well as with the IT support organization. Your role is also to define and administrate total situational awareness dashboards, performance monitoring, user experience analytics, KPI reporting, self-service visualization, diagnostic and reporting capabilities. You will have an important internal consultancy role to share knowledge, create instructions, train and help teams to further develop monitoring, alarms and automation.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need
- overall understanding and knowledge of IT services, operations, infrastructure and application development
- experience and proven record to setup monitoring and alarm management to improve performance and operational efficiency
- strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in monitoring in a hybrid environment
- knowledge in DevOps practices and Agile development methods
- an IT or engineering education on a Bachelor level
