You will be part of a team that creates and design technical information, i.e. manuals and instructions, to support our Mining and Rock Excavation business line with technical documentation and ensure a safe and efficient operation and maintenance of our Atlas Copco products. As part of the team you will work with the documentation delivery for our machine orders and participate in new development projects. This is a permanent position within Technical Information Service (TIS) organization. Description of the Technical information Designer role ·To create and provide technical information ensuring safe and proper operation and maintenance of our products. ·To collaborate with our engineers and service teams to retrieve input data and understanding of our products. ·To research and verify information that is to be included in the technical information. ·To be involved in various product development projects were you estimate time on behalf of Technical Information Services and create required documentation. All within committed time line. ·To learn about, working with and utilizing various software for publishing and PLM/PDM systems. ·To establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others. ·Experience within mechanical manufacturing. ·Worked with XML editors and CMS. ·Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and IsoDraw for creating instruction Illustrations. ·CMS Schema ST4 and XMetal for writing. ·Excellent communication skills in the English language. Speaking and writing. ·Ability to understand and read electrical and mechanical design drawings. ·Experience from working in international environment. ·Experience and product knowledge for mining equipment ·Educational requirements. 3-5 years of experience and/or degree in Technical Communication.
