SVT Engineering, IT & Technical Operations looking for an experienced application packager IT & Technology Operating in the SVT Engineering's mission is to ensure that all of SVT's administrative and technical systems and equipment maintenance and functions satisfactorily for all users.

The department consists of five sections, Application hosting, Infrastructure, Service, Technical Service and Support.

Application hosting
Application hosting, belonging to IT & Technical Operations, is located in Stockholm and currently consists of 20's co-workers. Applikationsdriftens data includes in handling the operation, manage and develop client platform. SVT has about 4000 PC clients spread over 27 locations throughout Sweden and a number of smaller offices abroad and has in recent years also enforced a standardization of PC-based production equipment such as sound and video equipment.

The standardized platform consisting of clients running Windows XP in a Windows 2003 server environment and in 2011 work will begin to lift the clients to Windows 7.

Tasks
You will be part of a group of four people where we strive to develop methods and procedures in order to effectively manage computers in a complex IT infrastructure. To solve the task, we work with Wise Package Studio, Active Directory, PXE, Windows PE, FastTrack, WSH, Scripting, etc.

When we have gone over to Windows 7 will SCCM become a vital tool.

Your primary task will be the MSI application packaging using Wise Package Studio and SCCM. You are expected to help with deep technical expertise in the area and a well developed ability to solve complex problems. The work involves both troubleshooting and problem solving in an environment with broad application flora.

The task is also included as a recipient and requirements opener against the wishes of the activities. It is important to be sensitive to what the business wants to achieve and still have a sense of what is feasible within the framework of the standard platform. This feeling requires insight, which we believe will be of long experience. You are also expected to convey technical information in a clear way whether the recipient has the technical background or not.

Qualifications and qualities

• You have at least 5 years proven experience in network with more than 500 users
• You have at least 3 years experience in application packaging of the MSI and software distribution.
• You have deep experience in Windows platform for clients and servers
• You're used to working with Wise Package Studio.
• You have experience working with SCCM
• You have an eye for problem-solving.
• You're used to and enjoy working both alone and in groups
• You have the ability to plan and document your work
• You realize the importance of system tests.

Meritorious properties

• Knowledge of any programering-/skriptspråk
• Interest in television and TV production
