Objectives
The System Integration Specialist will deliver enhancements to the operational system integration applications managed by the Centre of Excellence (CoE). He/she also will support Service Delivery to go live with the provided solutions.

The key objectives for this role are to ensure that:
- The solution delivery conforms to the business requirements
- An adequate level of documentation is provided, and that this documentation is stored in the appropriate repository to ensure access by support and development
staff
- The delivered solutions are handed off to support teams in a planned and formal manner
- Customer satisfaction on the work performed is achieved
- All delivery conforms to the defined processes, policies and procedures operational in Group IT and the CoE
- The team asset-base is updated with new or modified collateral from the any project delivery
- Delivery is on-time and on budget

Key operational responsibilities
General responsibilities of the role comprise, working within the CoE or as part of extended teams formed within the business and/or IT, the System Integration Specialist has to provide high quality conceptual, development and technical support services.

The role will be located in the Stockholm office, and will fulfill EDI and B2B requirements for Electrolux. The role will work with the local business with consultancy and in assisting them defining the most appropriate technical solution for their requirements.

The role may also participate in local and international projects to design, develop and support system integration solutions that are required by application delivery teams.

The role will also be required to provide production support for installed systems as necessary. This may also require being available for out of hours ‘on-call’ duties.

The main responsibilities will be:
Liaison with business representatives and external partners to establish the business requirements for EDI or B2B solutions
Agreeing the requirements specifications with the business
Definition and design of interfaces to internal and external applications
Working with international application teams within or outside of Electrolux to design system integration solutions and to assess impact on applications and
business relations.

Definition and clarification of interface message formats using standard formats like EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, XML and self designed in-house formats
Define and configure internal and external file or message transfers using all common transfer protocols like X.400, AS2, HTTP, email and others.
Develop integration solutions for the Electrolux message/file broker environment Axway Synchrony Integration Broker and Synchrony File Broker
Following the defined change control procedures for moving new System Integration components into production
Achieve high level customer satisfaction with projects and support of the solutions delivered
Create and maintain configuration and support documentation

Competencies needed
Experience of EDI and B2B system integration analysis, design and delivery
Knowledge of common data format standards (e.g. EDIFACT, XML)
Knowledge of common file transfer methods (e.g. MQ, X.400, AS2)
Experience of business processes or business application systems an advantage
Experience of working in medium size or international projects
General knowledge of a message broker environment
Knowledge of Axway Synchrony Integration Broker or Axway Synchrony File Broker an advantage
Experience of the application development lifecycle
Knowledge of Java, C++, .NET an advantage

The employee will be member of the System Integration Team (part of the Integration and Development Centre of Excellence). The System Integration Team provides solutions and services to IT and the Business for application-to-application and business-to-business systems connectivity. The teams responsibilities cover a wide range of integration requirements ranging from simple file transfer, EDI, secure internet communication and application-to-application message brokering using different message and file brokers as well as business consultany. The team is currently supporting the business to improve all EDI communication for our trading partners. The growth of EDI communication continues throughout Europe. Also, there is increasing business emphasis on the communication channels to our external partners that do not involve traditional EDI. These comprise a range of B2B tools including web-based services for our customers and suppliers. This is an increasingly important part of our route to market.
