Growth is a function within Line of Business Swedbank Pay Small and Medium Businesses (LoB SMB), responsible for coordinating the change agenda for SMB and support and drive strategic projects and analysis. Growth is also responsible for developing and operate sales steering, structure and processes. Responsibility also includes to develop and maintain tools to enable data driven decisions regarding priorities on a strategic and tactical level (e.g. new sales activities and priorities) and to track key metrics.
More about the position
As a Business Data Analyst you will be responsible for enabling data driven decisions on a strategic and tactical level by drawing conclusions from data and use those to deliver insights and make recommendations. You will be the main hub for our analytical capabilities and have the opportunity to work with a wide array of questions with real impact on the business outcome (e.g. identify new sales value creation activities, input in vertical and offering prioritization and pricing) as you support various stakeholders across the organization. You will also be responsible for finding ways of visualizing data commonly used within the organization.
You will report to Head of Growth but work closely with the LoB Swedbank Pay SMB's management team and other key stakeholders across the organization in your day-to-day to work.
We are looking for someone that: Loves working with data analysis and transforming raw data into clear actionable business insights and wants to develop and grow as part of the Swedbank Pay team.
You have a problem solving and analytical mindset with excellent ability to grasp, structure and address complex challenges, including concluding your findings into meaningful and actionable recommendations in a clear and structured way. You likely have prior experience from working with data analytics.
As a person you are flexible with a can-do mentality and thrive in an environment where you are expected to take your own initiatives. Attention to detail is of great importance and you put a high value on delivering things of quality at the required time.
You have the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and you see yourself as a non-prestigious team player – being used to collaboration across borders and cultures as well as working with several stakeholders simultaneously.
We also think it’s good if you have:
University degree in technology, computer science, statistics, business analytics or equivalent
3-5 years of experience of working within roles as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist or similar
Extensive experience with SQL, Python or R
Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Tableu etc.)
Excellent skills in Excel and Powerpoint
Demonstrated ability to analyze large amounts of data into clear and actionable insights
Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate and explain data and its implications to various stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Analytical mindset combined with business acumen
Strong problem-solving skills and can-do attitude
Experience from the payments industry is a plus, but not a must
