Join the world’s oldest start-up and turn up the volume on your career

Through the Jabra brand, GN Audio have created the world’s first ultra noise-canceling microphone, the world’s first Bluetooth headset and the world’s first sports headphones with integrated heart rate monitor.

Our solutions implement communication protocols over USB, audio, Bluetooth, DECT and webservices as well as operating systems for PCs and smartphones. And as we want to remain at the very forefront of the market, we reinvest more than 10% of our revenue in R&D every year – so, it is no coincidence that we keep setting trends.

Joining us at the heart of the R&D organization, you will get 6 new colleagues as part of the embedded software team. Together, we are responsible for specification, design, implementation and testing of embedded software for GN Audio's Bluetooth devices.

What your colleagues say about working at Jabra:

“Have a bright new idea? Here, you will be met with open minds and find expert knowledge to help shape your idea into a concrete product.”

  • Manager Adrien Le Gouz de Saint-Seine, ESW BT, DECT and USB.

“It feels very special to be part of such a large, global front runner with Danish values and benefits.”

  • Simon Racklift

What will you be doing?

Developing and maintaining GN Audio's software platforms for current and future products will be your mission. Ultimately, you will make life sound better through products like the Jabra Elite 7 Pro and the Jabra Elite 4 Active – just to name a few.

Working in a SAFe set up, you will collaborate closely with embedded software colleagues as well as the application software and software testing teams – always succeeding as a team.

Besides developing software with your team, you will:

  • Help discover and introduce new technologies to GN Audio
  • Plan, interface and negotiate software deliveries with other team members
  • Communicate and exchange knowledge with other GN divisions such as Hardware, Digital Signal Processing, Design, etc., to ensure optimal and timely development

You will be joining your 4 team colleagues in Ballerup or the other 2 in Aalborg. In this role, you can practically be working from anywhere, but you should expect to visit our HQ in Ballerup frequently.

Sound good so far? Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

C programming skills

You might have graduated this year – your level of experience is not significant. The important thing is that you are fluent in C programming and capable of developing fully functional software.

Knowledge of embedded development

You know the basics of embedded development, embedded operating systems and microcontrollers. Preferably combined with a natural interest in electronics and hardware.

Fluent written and spoken English skills

As an international organization with colleagues in over 50 different countries, our official company language is English. It’s essential that you can communicate effortlessly with your colleagues, no matter where they are.

The Jabra culture

The Jabra culture is upbeat and positive. We greet every day with energy and enthusiasm, bringing our best selves and approaching problem-solving and challenges with a ‘glass half full’ attitude. We’re independent, but we also know when two heads are better than one. Our leaders are supportive, our teams are tight-knit, and we believe in the power of collaboration across every level of our organization.
