Information Security Analyst

We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience within similar roles, such as IT Security Analyst, Cybersecurity Specialist etc. The successful candidate has a broad cybersecurity knowledge base with good technical skills. You will work to strengthen the overall security posture, and ensure that our information assets are securely managed during the ongoing digital journey.

You will work closely with business and IT-colleagues to develop, clarify, and ensure implementation of our security requirements. In our outsourced IT-environment, you will also work closely together with our service providers and steering them in regards of our security frameworks. The security team’s responsibilities cover all areas of cybersecurity and you will contribute as subject matter expert, project team member and steer projects with external project managers. As the work is in a truly global environment, some travel might be required.

Key Responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Participate in the strategic development and follow up of the cybersecurity program and its policies, standards, and procedures

  • Consult the business with subject matter expertise and awareness of DeLaval’s security policies and requirements

  • Keep abreast of emerging security technologies, make appropriate recommendations to implement security countermeasures to mitigate cyber risks

  • Participate in high-priority security incident response calls, also outside regular office hours if required and contribute to resolutions

  • Perform analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures

  • Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information

  • Participate in audits and security assessments of the organisation and third parties

  • Collect and report Security Metrics

Your qualifications: 

  • University degree in Information Security, IT or equivalent business experience

  • Relevant certifications, e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH, and GIAC are seen as merits

  • Demonstrated advanced computer skills with a focus on cybersecurity and information assurance

  • Deep knowledge of information and IT security frameworks, e.g. ISO/IEC 27000, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and Critical Security Controls

  • Good understanding of the Risk Management Frameworks, e.g. NIST 800-37, ISO/IEC 27005 and 31000

  • Good knowledge of Data Privacy and GDPR

  • Knowledge and experience with the information security and assurance principles (e.g., Defence-in-depth and Zero-trust) and associated supporting technologies

  • Ability to assess and weigh current and evolving security threats in an operational environment, e.g. IoT, Cloud and Hybrid

  • Experience of Secure Development Lifecycle Management is desired

  • Must possess strong organizational, strategic, and analytical skills, the ability to operate autonomously,  and acute attention to details

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with diverse people across a global organization and multicultural environment

  • Fluent in written and spoken English, additional language is seen as a merit
