As an IT manager we would like to see that you encourage collaboration and innovation as well as ensure the right conditions for an open climate in the teams and with other cross-functional teams. You challenge yourself and your employees to actively participate and contribute to results and delivery and take ownership for own development and good collaborations.
In this role you are responsible for an efficient agile way of working in the Digital channel teams by ensuring the right staffing, competence, and team development. Together with your team and product owner you are responsible for both the daily delivery and the work towards ATG's goal in creating the world’s most exciting gaming experience.
Managing the Digital channel section will require that you work both operative and strategically and you will be given great responsibility for three teams: app, global and streaming. We have a flexible working environment and therefore your teams will combine working from home with working from the office. As a manager you are able to adapt your leadership to the new way of working and the challenges that might come with it like team spirit and engagement.
The teams are international teams and therefor you are comfortable with both Swedish and English and it is easy for you to express your ideas and perspectives with the purpose of inspire and engage others.
Your daily work will consist of following
Ensure workforce planning according to short- and long-term needs
Communicate clearly and create an environment where we listen to each other
Lead development and learning through servant leadership and creating commitment
Drive business development forward, work for the whole and with many perspectives
Show courage in leadership by being open to innovation
Set goals for teams and team members
Lead and make decisions and drive the work towards set goals
Recruit, develop and manage competences needed in the team
Manage a budget
Ensure adequate staffing and competence for incident, problem and crisis management
Have salary and PD talks
Skills & Requirements
To succeed in this role
We like to see that you have strong leadership skills and you are not afraid to challenge others or to be challenged by others. As a leader you have strong people and stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate on all levels in a simple and clear way.
When taking on this role as an IT manager you need to have a good understanding of IT and web development therefore experience from similar position is an advantage to fill in this role. Agile mindset, structure and solution orientation is key for success. You have an inner drive to satisfy customer needs therefore good cooperation and flexibility is a must. You have excellent skills in agile way of working and have experience of agile transformations.
It is an advantage if you have some knowledge of the techniques the team is using like streaming, react native, redux, typescript, GraphQL, CMS etc.
Relevant academic degree (MSc or bachelor) or working experience that match the requirements.
