IT Solution Manager for Group IT – EDMS - Document Management

Do you want to take on ownership of managing a brand new GN Document Management system? And do you want to ensure that the system remains valuable for our business after go-live?

Then join us and make your mark in Group IT, Group Solutions in GN, and influence how we manage and develop a brand-new Documents Management system, which will cover EDMS functionality, QMS functionality and Process Workflow functionality.

The new system is going to cover both the Hearing and the Jabra brand – but also Store Nord (covers group functions). The system is not chosen yet, so you will be part of the implementation project, which is started during Summer 2022.

Define and manage the future Document Management system
At our global HQ located in Ballerup, Denmark, as our new IT Solution Manager you will report directly to Head of Group Solutions Henrik S. Lawætz.

Together with your colleagues, your responsibility will involve various components of the new Document Management system incl. system governance. You will take lead in making sure the system lives up to requirements and is rolled out in various global locations and sites throughout our GN business units.

You will be part of the system implementation project – and you will bear a shared responsibility for the entire system life cycle, incl. internal compliance (specifically for GN Hearing, the system is under change control and is thus validated).

Doing so, as IT Solution Manager, you must reach out and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and ensure that the system is fulfilling its purpose. You will also engage with vendors and third-party consultants, who will handle the day-to-day management of some of the system components, as well as some issues fixing and system add-ons.

In this position, you are provided with a great potential for professional-, and personal development.

This means that you will:

  • Be part of the project group during implementation

  • During project, take OCM responsibility handling organizational change management, but also navigate future OCM changes and impact on different areas and regions

  • Align business requirement specifications and expectations for the system

  • Define and manage schedules for service and system updates in alignment with the business

  • Take jointly responsibility for the daily administration, support, and improvement of the system and integrating systems

  • Provide budget estimations for build and run activities and monitor current spend

  • Gain extensive knowledge of all project management related components relevant for managing and operating the system

  • Keep GN Hearing entity of the system in a validated state

 

You listen, challenge, and transform
It is vital that you listen to business needs and challenge our processes to create maximum value. You have the assertiveness and communicative abilities to manage stakeholders and create change across the entire organization. In addition, you are structured and enjoy improving procedures and processes.  

We are open for your experience and background, where we image that you have the following:

  • Interest and skillset for servicing a SaaS solution - and at best some years of experience from a similar position within IT, e.g., within IT project or IT System Management

  • All-round knowledge of IT, including IT management set-ups and IT system architecture as well as IT compliance. ITIL is GNs Service Management approach, ideally you know of this framework

  • Ideally knowledge from a similar setup, as GN’s, within Document Management, EDMS, QMS and Process Workflow

  • We are open to your educational background, where you might have a higher education e.g., as a librarian or similar, within engineering or IT, or alternatively in a combination of an IT-, and business orientated education  

  • Ideally knowledge of service and vendor management, including external service providers

  • Fluency in English (and Danish is preferred, but not required)
