ABOUT THE ROLE
Academic Work is on behalf of our client Scania looking for a Junior Software Engineer to the team Digital Products who is a part of Scania’s Connected Services and Solutions (CS). Scania strives to be more competitive and innovative and CS is the spearhead who leads the way forward. You will be a part of a customized program during 6 months where you will get an adapted role for both your and Scania’s ambitions. You will be employed by Academic Work, and work as a consultant at Scania. The intention of Scania is long term, and there are good opportunities to be extended, given that all parties are satisfied with the cooperation. The Talent Program offers junior Software Developers and Engineers to learn and grow in an individualized program during six months. This means that you will take part of different activities to get a broad insight in Scania’s business. The activities includes education, social meetings with other talented colleagues, study visits and coaching sessions once a month during the program. You will also get a mentor whom will guide you in your daily work.
You will belong to a quality-focused development team working with mobile applications. The team consists of six competent coworkers in the roles Developer, Product Owner and Project Leader. They have a positive and creative atmosphere where cooperation and geekiness are valued. As part of the Digital Products Team you will be a valuable player of working with automatized tests and ensuring the quality of the mobile apps.
This position suits you who wants to develop through a customized talent program and get a broad insight in Scania's work through varied activities. WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Has a newly post- graduated education within IT
- Has some programming skills within any script languages, for example Python, and a passion to learn more
- Has a big interest within mobile applications
- Have good knowledge in English
- To get a place in the talent program, we think you are passionate about Scania as an organization and want to take part in their future journey. We want you to motivate this in your application.
It will be considered an additional qualification if you have a side project within mobile applications that you can show us.
