Product Owner for Software – Battery Competence Center
We are now looking for a Product Owner who has a passion within the field of software development and an interest in the future of battery development.
Electrification is one of Husqvarna’s key strategic priorities and its success will eventually come to define us as a company. The Battery Competence Center is in the center of this transformation. Our ambition is to reach global leadership within battery powered outdoor equipment.

This is an opportunity to be part of the whole product development chain, from idea to end customer, within your segment. Your role is to balance the different project needs and to prioritize the backlog for the team, own the “what” and “why”. You will move between the local team and global suppliers and partners. We have a setup where we are working according to agile methods interfacing traditional projects.
You will be working close to fun colleagues that are experts within their respective fields. Through collaboration, within the team and together with our stakeholders, you will aim to find best possible value for our products.
We develop embedded software for all Husqvarna batteries, over functions and divisions We work within the whole spectra of software engineering - Specification, Design, Implementation, Test and Documentation. The code is written in C and the test cases in C++. The batteries are used in the whole range of products and the organizational aim is to bring intelligent power to future products.
We see that you need to have:
More than 3-years of experience in working as Product Owner or similar.
An university degree in Software Engineering, Electronics or Mechatronics with focus on software engineering
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience in software architecture.
Experience in batteries or applications using batteries.
Proficiency in Swedish.
We believe that you are a solution-oriented, positive and quality-minded person. You are pragmatic and enjoy collaborating with colleagues as well as working independently.
The position can be based in Huskvarna, Gothenburg or Jonsered (Just outside of Gothenburg).
