Product Owner - PeTra product

Applicon is a growing Fintech company in the banking and finance sector. Since 1995 the company has collaborated with several banks, leasing and financial companies in the Nordic region. The 50+ employees have broad experience of banking, finance and business processes, management, system development, implementation of standard systems and adaptation of international banking systems for the Swedish and Nordic markets. Applicon is on a journey to go from consulting to develop products and services for the banking and finance market to meet their customers' future needs. To succeed in this, we are now looking for a Product Owner situated in our Stockholm office in Sweden.

As a product owner for PeTra product your mission is to migrate the legacy product to a modern SaaS solution. You enjoy both tech and business. You are responsible for driving the Product forward and make sure that the Product always generates value. A Product Owner lives, breathes and talks around the product with responsibility for the product and with clear mandate.

• Product responsibility: Within chosen business strategy and agreed target segments, understand customer needs, develop the Product and in cooperation with Sales & Marketing plan and execute sales- and marketing activities. Together with

• Line responsibility: Act as an owner of the Product and make decisions around Product development. Responsible for people management of the members in the Product Teams.

• Responsibility ways of working: Maintain Applicons agile development method, Be responsible for reporting, stake holder management around the Product and it’s development.

We believe that you

• Either have a product owner certification and preferably a SAFE education or is educated within project management

• Have experience from product owning or project management

• Have experience within compliance work and is interested in compliance law

• Have a strong interest in how the product work – both technical and process wise

• Can speak and write in english

• Are a team player and has the ability to get the team on board

• Are communicative and curious
