QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER TO SCANIA
Do you want to build Scania’s future of digital services? The combination of digitalization, electrification and connected vehicles will be a key to unlock future success for our customers, and that’s why we’re investing in our people and our technology like never before!
The world of transport and logistics is rapidly transforming into a sustainable ecosystem and at Scania we are facing the biggest shift in our history. To support this we have our fast-growing Service Portfolio and Delivery organisation, which comprises 200+ people in Södertälje. Our target is to take a leading role by introducing new tailor-made services and sustainable transport solutions. This transformation will change the way we do business and interact with our customers and we ensure they stay ahead of their game.
We are looking for you who have a great interest in Quality Assurance and the curiosity to learn new things. Come and join us!
You will join an agile team of developers, testers, product owners and scrum master. We work with a big portfolio of digital services aimed to make our customers’ operations easier, with help of data from our connected vehicles.
You will be responsible for setting up automation testing for UI and backend testing of endpoints. You will also conduct manual testing on API:s. Throughout the development cycle you will review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. E.g. you will work with Selenium, Cypress, Zephyr, Postman and AWS. Further you will:
- Make testing an integral part of the development process
- Develop test plans with test cases, carry out testing according to these and write test reports
- Take our test automation to the next level. Participate in and influence the development of which test tool is to be used
We believe that you have a passion for software quality assurance and sustainable technologies. Just as us you strive to get better all the time, by having an open mindset to new insights and learnings. As a person you are curious, driven, problem-solving and detail oriented. You have the ability to zoom in and out of issues while balancing needs and requirements. You can have just a few years of experience within this area, and we think you have a good interest in writing test cases, creating test plans and test automation and want to continue your development within the quality assurance area. Experience with AWS and ISTQB cerification is a plus.
