SW portfolio manager
Working out of our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be responsible for defining the strategy for GN Hearing portfolio of software solutions and experiences for our core hearing aids sold as well as the new hearing-enhancing earbuds, Jabra Enhance Plus. You will have a huge impact on shaping the future experiences and ecosystems that we are building around our devices for the benefit of our customers and users.
Together with colleagues from across the value chain, you need to build the roadmaps that will drive our future success based on unique experiences for our users and customers. Specifically, your responsibilities are to
Develop a product and portfolio strategy for the SW driven experiences in collaboration with other key parts of Product Management, R&D and Sales – where to play, how to win and the priorities on how to do this
Define and own the software portfolio and roadmaps. Drive resource allocation together with R&D
Be the Product Management driver in defining the future customer facing experience enabled by our software solutions – a central strategic project to continue to deliver experience that our customers love
Drive alignment across Product Management, Marketing, R&D and other parts of the organization to ensure that the experience portfolio and strategy links up with the efforts across GN Hearing.
Define the customer journeys and experiences that will be the foundation for the portfolio together with other teams in Product Management and R&D
You will be successful in the role if you:
Have 3-7 years of relevant experience from a similar position in product management. It is great if you have experience with development of experience and product strategies. If you also have experience creating cloud solutions for an ecosystem spanning customers, users, and partners, it is even better
Alternatively, you could also have experience as business analyst, but it is important that you are interested in learning the product portfolio and the role of each product
Have a relevant Master’s degree in either business or technical area.
Have experience working with medical regulated software in a product mgmt. or R&D context
Ideally have experience from the Hearing industry
Can analyze and structure complex problems – and drive them to a conclusion
Are excellent at stakeholder management. This is key as you will be engaging across the value chain
Can effortlessly communicate in spoken and written English
Have strong command of the standard Office applications and ability to learn how to the systems used to manage the portfolio
If you have a background with product strategy, product management, portfolio management, cloud strategy, SW development and /or hearing solutions it’s an advantage but not a requirement.

About the department
You will work in Product and Experience Portfolio Management which part of Product Management inside the newly established SVP area Research, Development and Commercialization. We are responsible for managing the product and experience portfolio across GN Hearing. Our responsibility is to ensure a portfolio that enables us to reach our financial and strategic targets. This is the time to join: We are a key player in taking GN Hearing from a product to a full experience perspective. This transition is high on agenda of senior leadership.
