Swedbank Pay IT Development consists of around 160 employees in the Nordics as well as Baltics and is split into 10 teams. The teams constantly strive to expand and maintain the biggest infrastructure for acquiring, e-commerce and other related payment services in the Nordics.

About the job
Swedbank Pay has a leading Card Acquiring position in Sweden and the Baltics, and there are significant opportunities for growth within the E-com channels. Card Acquiring (former Babs) and the PSP (former PayEx) is gathered within the business area Swedbank Pay to provide end to end solutions for the merchants.
The main objective for our unit is to facilitate business with developing new and maintaining existing IT solutions.
As a Software Engineer you will work in a cross functional team with extensive knowledge, skills, and experience in the services within card payment authorization in the Acquiring and Issuing area. You will also continue the team’s journey towards an agile way of working.
In our team you will have the opportunity to work with services impacting a large number of customers; merchants as well as end-customers.
The team consists of Software Engineers, Scrum lead, Business Analysts and Agile Product Owner (APO); everyone with focus on high qualitative deliveries of new development as well as lifecycle handling - all with a helpful and collaborative atmosphere in the team. You will also have a very close collaboration with the team´s APO as well as other key stakeholders in the business area. We can guarantee a high pace and challenges but most of all – a great deal of fun!

As a Software Engineer you will:
Perform the technical design and development of card payment authorization systems using Base24 on HP-Nonstop Servers
Design, develop, code and test Base24 applications to agreed technical specifications
Assist with requirements gathering, analysis and development of specifications to meet the business requirements
Create and review unit and test plans. Design, develop and execute test scripts using Iliad Solutions’ T3 simulator.
Assist the maintenance team with customer enquiries and troubleshooting.
Plan and estimate the work together with the team members
Collaborate with the APO, business analyst and other roles to refine the product backlog to identify that the most valuable things are being worked on first
What you need to succeed
Experience from structured programming language, for instance C/C++, Java, or C#
A relevant university degree in Computer Science, or similar work experience
Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
What you may have worked with previously
Experience from the Card and Acquiring are
Background from working in the bank or finance area
